**ALL RACE PACKS ARE TO BE COLLECTED ON THE DAY**

\nRace Pack Collection<\/strong><\/p>\n

Your race number will be assigned to you at registration. To collect your number you need to make your way down to the collection desks on Wednesday evening. It will take around 15 minutes to collect your number. The earlier you get there, the more efficient we will be on the day. \u00a0If you have your own pins then that would be great but we will have supplies if needed.<\/span><\/div>\n

Your timing chip will be attached to the bottom of your race bib. Please remove the strip and attach it to your shoe shiny side up as per the instructions on the back of the chip. Please make sure you keep your number on at all times during the race. At the finish, you can dispose of your chip (we do not need to collect them back).<\/span><\/div>\n

Race Start\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Within the event village you will see the directional signage guiding to the start line. \u00a0Each start area will be marked out to help prepare you all into your start formations with help from the marshals. When arriving please familiarise yourself with the \u00a0start area.<\/p>\n

Please listen closely to MC and marshal instructions on the day as we will be lining runners up in pace order based on expected finish times.<\/p>\n

Toilets<\/strong><\/p>\n

There will be toilets available within the park. The location of these can be seen<\/span>\u00a0HERE<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n
These are a 5minute walk from the event village, please leave enough time to use the facilities and get to the start lines.<\/span><\/div>\n

During the race<\/strong><\/p>\n

As it is a lapped course, there is the high probability that at some point the leaders and lead bikes will be passing you. \u00a0Please listen to direction from the lead bike to ensure safe passing, and we also advise to avoid wearing headphones in the interest of safety.<\/p>\n

The race will be lead by an individual on a bike. \u00a0The course is all on paths within the park. The 5k is one lap, 10k is 2 laps and the 10 mile is 3 laps (with an additional mini loop). We will have marshals and signs at all crucial points. You can see the course map\u00a0HERE<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Spectators<\/strong><\/p>\n

\n

The start and finish will be easily accessible for anyone wanting to come and watch the event. There is plenty of parking. Heaton Hall is beautiful and will be well worth a walk around before the race.<\/p>\n

Refreshments<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

Please bring your own water to the event to avoid congestion on the course, there will be a water station that you will pass on each lap which you’re welcome t help yourself to. We recommend staying hydrated in the lead up to the event.<\/p>\n

Baggage<\/strong><\/p>\n

We will have an informal baggage drop for this event. Please limit the number of belongings you bring to the event and if possible leave anything in a car. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to the baggage marshals and they will help you find your bag.<\/p>\n

After the race
\n<\/strong>
\nDo NOT stop within the finish area. Please continue through the finish until you pass the medals and are in an open space.<\/p>\n

There will be sealed ACTIPH water bottles at the finish for each runner to collect along with your medal, Love Corn and Bounce bar which will be laid out on tables for you to help yourself.<\/p>\n
